My Poor Car

These are the pics of my car. While Mike was in school/class(Saturday Oct. 19th) someone ran into my parked car! The guy in the red car pictured said his brakes gave out and he slammed into my car. Poor Mike had no idea when he walked out of class to the car. My car moved to the next parking spot. When we moved it to tow it we saw the front which slammed into the concrete in front of it and my hood is messed up. As the tow truck left the parking deck the arm of the gate thing fell down onto the hood of my car and made a mark and scratched up the top. I haven't taken a picture of that and now have no idea who is going to cover that part. both doors on the passenger side will not open. the trunk takes forever to close back, We did not try the hood yet and the wheel that was hit is crooked. Great. My poor sweet car!

So you can imagine how much time and work it has been for us to work with the insurance company. It is one fight after another.....they finally just gave me a rental since my car is not drivable. Please keep us in your prayers. We are very thankful no one was injured or hurt.

Baby #2 is a ..........

Just wanted to let everyone know that I went to a 3D baby place like I did with Wyatt to find out what we are having. She said she is 98% positive it is a baby GIRL! Mike is so excited and when we get to scanning some ultrasound pictures I will post them....that is for those who are interested. I just knew she was going to tell me it was a boy so I was a little shocked. We have about 9-10 names we are looking at and have not decided what we like the most. Wyatt will have a baby sister.
I have been feeling much better. The moring sickness is almost gone, I still have times where I feel sick but I have not gotten sick. It is really weird this time around because sometimes I forget that I am pregnant. Probably because Wyatt keeps me so busy.
We will do our very best to keep everyone posted. Thanks for those who check in.

Wyatt & Vivy's Birthday & Baby Dedication

Wyatt's First birthday. We decided to have Vivien & Wyatt's birthday together this year...they are only 4 days apart. Mike and I have been going to Southside Church for almost 3 years and thought it was most important that we have Wyatt's baby dedication on his first birthday. Not that he is automatically going to heaven because of a baby dedication but we thought it was appropriate for our friends and family know and support us in raising our son in a christian home. It should really be called a parent dedication. It was great! Our pastor came to the party and really made it special for us. I will share some pictues from the dedication and the party. Please pay special attention to our decor. Julie and I spent quite some time making plates, napkins, watermellon, sandwiches, fish bowl of gelatin dessert, cookies, hats, you see it and we did it! It was fun. Enjoy!

Wyatt in Daytona Beach

Mike, Wyatt and I flew to Daytona for a short trip with the Dettmerings (Troy, Mindy and William). Wyatt had a blast and I finally got a picture of Wyat in the airplane. This was his 2nd round trip in a airplane! He did great!

Our little scooter

Just wanted to post some pictures of Wyatt. My mom came to spend the night and Wyatt would drink a sip of his water when my mom would drink her drink. He thought it was funny. The other two pictures are of Wyatt scooting around the house with his 4th of July maracas. My mom gave them to him. He did not want to let them go. Enjoy!

To the Beach without Daddy

So I went to St. Augustine with Julie and Sean's family. I flew in Wednesday and then flew back Saturday. That means Wyatt went on his first airplane trip! He also got 3 top teeth in. I was so blessed that both ways flying, I sat next to two men who loved kids...only God could plan that one. He actually took naps on the plane. Wyatt loves the beach. He would scoot all over the place and left a trail behind him. He would also play forever with the sand. I am going to try to attach a couple of videos of him so you can see him in action. This little vacation was without daddy but I must admit vacations are really not like they used to be. They are more like a change of scenery and especially without Mike it was really hard. Wyatt and Vivy played so well together I swear he was looking for her when we were back at home.

4th of July

We celebrated the fouth at uncle Scott and aunt Jane's. We had cookout and lots of loud fireworks. Wyatt loved the fireworks. He did not cry or get sad, unless we tried to cover his ears and he would get upset with us. I have a few pictures from that night. The next day we went to Dawsonville and celebrated my grandfather Victor's birthday. We then came home and went to Hutchenson Ferry Park to a free Atlanta Symphony Orchestra concert and fireworks. It was very rainy but we all enjoyed the experience.
